Music Lesson Policies

Here are our current music lesson policies. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any comments or questions.


Signup Fee:
A one-time $30 signup fee per student is due when this contract is signed.

Lesson Fee:
Lesson rates are $38.50 per half-hour lesson. Payment for the entire month is due by the first lesson of each month, based on the number of scheduled lesson days.
If payment is not received by the start of the second lesson, the instructor may withhold the lesson, and a late fee may apply.
Each lesson is 30 minutes long and will take place on the day and time reserved unless otherwise arranged with the instructor.

Term:
This contract automatically renews on a monthly basis.

Cancellations:
If the instructor cancels a lesson, the student will receive either a make-up lesson or a lesson credit.
If an instructor cancels without prior notice and the student arrives for their lesson, the student will receive an additional free lesson credit.

Please note that each student reserves a dedicated lesson time. If a student misses a lesson, no credit or make-up lesson will be issued without prior approval from the instructor.

Lesson Time:
Lessons begin on the hour or half-hour, with a 5-minute grace period for setup and transition time.

Holidays:
Firehouse Guitars & Music is closed on the following holidays:
Memorial Day, Labor Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
Please check with your instructor regarding lessons scheduled on the day before Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
Students will not be charged for lessons on days when the store is closed.
