She has worked as a reed player for productions with schools, as well as the Theater on The Square in Sullivan, IL. As a vocalist, Melissa has performed with and served as section leader for the Rockford Symphony Orchestra Chorale and Elysian Voices, a choir based in northern Illinois which promotes and performs new and contemporary choral music. Newer to the Atlanta area, Melissa is eager to begin working as a musician. She has had the opportunity to play clarinet with the Tara Winds and performs at many songwriter open mics in the area.
